Family Album

Because the page would otherwise take forever to load, I have linked the images to the text below rather than including on the page. I have tried to make the links easily searchable, but be patient. If you're searching for a particular surname, try using your browser's search function [Ctrl-F on most systems].
  • Marion Lutz Stryker, ca. 1916. This was probably taken at the Stryker's home in Wethersfield, CT. The caption on the back of this photo reads, "Farmerette Marion."
  • According to Marion Lutz Stryker, the individuals depicted are George (Jackson?), and three of the Stryker children, Doris, Marion, and Donald. It is believed that this photo was taken ca. 1925.
  • Engagement Announcement: Marion Lutz Stryker's engagement to Ralph T. Beaudin. Dated September 8, 1934. This probably was printed in the Society Section of the Hartford Courant, though it may have been in the now-defunct Hartford Times.
  • (L-R) Matriarch Mrs. Jackson with daughter Vel, grandson Bobby, son-in-law Johnny, and granddaughter Deanna. This photo was probably taken ca. 1940. Vel was technically Marion's aunt, but as they were quite close in age, their relationship was more "cousinlike." As of the mid-nineties, Vel was still alive--and in her mid-nineties.
  • Ralph Theodore Beaudin Jr. with his grandmother Adeline Archambault Beaudin. This is the women referred to in the "Geneolgy" as Mimere.
  • Ralph Theodore Beaudin Jr.'s 4th Grade picture from Niantic School, CT (1946).
  • Garrett Hurvey Stryker & wife Sarah Mercedes Jackson shown outdoors.
  • Garret Stryker and Sarah Stryker, seated. Their daughter Marion said that in every picture she had of her parents, they were holding hands, and considered it a tribute to their love for each other.
  • Francisco Palmieri, father of Anna Luisa Palmieri Serpi
  • Anna Luisa Palmieri Serpi. She came to the U.S. in the early 20s.
  • This picture of Anna was taken in 1924. She gave it to her daughter, (Marie) Luisa.
  • Marie Luisa Serpi. She married Paolo Stella in the 1920's, and they lived to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary
