Know all men by these presents that I Anna Mires widow and relict of Peter Mires late of the Township of Amwell - in the County of Hunterdon and State of New Jersey decd (?) for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Dollar to me in hand paid at and before the Sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, by Isaac Stryker- of the Township of Readington and County of Hunterdon aforesaid have given granted remursed released and forever quit claimed and by these Presents do give grant remurse release and forever quit Claim unto him the said Isaac Stryker and to his heirs and assigned forever All this Dower and thirds, right and title of Dower and thirds an all other right title natural property claim and domain Whatsoever in law and in equity of me the said Anna _ Mires widow as aforesaid of in and to or out of All that certain lot of land, situate in the Township of Readington aforesaid Beginning at a Stone heap at the North East Corner of the wood before the Door of D. Covenhovens house and runs (‘) (?) West five chains to a Stone heap then On the woods due South four chains to a Stone heap ^then(?) due East five chains to a Stone heap in the line of the land of said Covenhoven and there with the Same due north four chains to the Beginning containing two acres (being the same which my late husband—Peter Myers conveyed to the Said Isaac Stryker by Deed dated the 14^th day of February AD 1835, And of in to and out of the rents issues and Profits thereof or of any part thing so that neither of the said Anna Mires my heirs executors nor administrators nor any other person or persons, for me them or any of- them shall have claim challenge or demand or pretend to have claim or demand and Dower or thirds or any other right title claim or demand of in or to the Such premises or any part thereof or of either of them but thereof and thru from Shall be utterly debased and excluded forever by these presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Eighth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and thirty eight –

Be it remembered that on the Eighth day of February in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty Eight, before Me, Adams C. Davis, one of the Judges of the inferior Court of Common pleas and for said county, personally appeared Anne Miers, and I hereby made known to her the contents of the foregoing deed, and being satisfied that she is the grantor therein named, she did acknowledge that she signed, sealed and delivered the said as her voluntary aok and did.
